Birth of a Gazebo

This shows the first main support truss on which the Gazebo was constructed. This truss is 20 feet long and was designed to support the roof and connect in all sub trusses to form the overall roof structure
for this Gazebo.

First stage of construction

This shows the roof section completely framed in with the narrows of Nosbonsing Lake in the background. The site location by Mr. Roger Gauvreau was excellent and adds considerable beauty to the area. It has become a landmark.

Progress is made

This is day five of construction and we are trying desperately to take advantage of the current good weather before my vacation draws to an end, and I must leave this beautiful paradise.

Where the big ones are caught

Nosbonsing Lake is the area that all the game fishermen talk about. We have a broad variety of types of fish in this Lake. Pickerel and Northern Pike are abundant in these waters, as well as many other species. The best months for fishing are the months of May and Sept. In this picture you are looking at a 55 pound Northern Pike which I believe was caught in early September.

Pretty well finished

This is the gazebo in it's final stages of construction. This gazebo was constructed for the enjoyment of all vacationers at Helen & Roger Gauvreau's (Johnny's Camp) You may also request a brochure through this site and it will be sent out to you without delay. The flier is developed in publisher so you must have publisher to be able to open it. This structure is very large & measures 20' in each direction.
